I started off as a part time mobile spray tan artist in 2009. Back in the day the industry was so new there weren’t any coaches around and I had to learn everything on my own. (literally everything) I was so nervous & honestly lacked SO much confidence back then!

I also worked a full time job in the corporate industry and juggled my P/T mobile spray tan biz (I get the challenges that come with it working 2 jobs). It was my dream to finally quit the corporate world and do spray tanning full time. Years later I finally did and will be honest and admit that I failed. Yep, because I didn’t know how to market my business properly. Sure I was busy as a part time spray tan artist but I didn’t want to realize that didn’t pay full time bills. I was also involved in direct sales selling home scents and put too much focus on the wrong thing. I spent more time on the thing making me the least money and had to go back to corporate life. I was so deflated. Maybe if I had a coach to guide me back then things would have been different.

I always try to learn from my mistakes. Years later in 2014 I created my product line called Perfect Glow Sunless. It wasn’t easy, as a matter a fact I have accomplished something that is rare in the beauty industry. I had to keep my corporate job to fund my endeavor as creating your own solution and sunless line is NOT as easy as people think. I had pretty much no savings , no rich husband and had to figure out the best way to do things at the cheapest cost. Some things were hit and miss but I learned to do my own websites, set up my own store and did all of my own marketing and social media posting.

I was a 1 woman company & started Perfect Glow packing orders put of my guest bedroom and taking them to work & going to the post office at my lunch break to ship them out. All of my breaks were spent returning customers calls and my “office” was my car where I conducted business during lunch. And on top of that I was still spray tanning clients nights and weekends.

My first big success was when my company was nominated for Best Spray Tan solution company! I was in the same category as top companies with million dollar budgets and yet I hardly had any savings ( I was investing back into my business) After tons of hard work a few years later I took a leap of faith and quit the corporate world. It was time to focus again (the right way) full time on my spray tan biz and growing product line. I gave up the security of a paycheck, health benefits and 401K. I was petrified and thought “What if I failed” BUT I also had to follow my dream and thought “I don’t want to ever say I never tried”

I have grown my business into a top rated international brand & work with a wonderful team and continue to grow at an exponential rate! My success story has been featured in publications such as Forbes, South Florida Business Journal, named a Palm Beach inspiring story and more, I even got a call back from my 1st Shark Tank audition. (read the blog here ) I did this all without a fat bank account, any investors and by just making smart business choices and following my gut. As a matter of fact.. I never went to business school or even graduated college. I found my passion and my calling and I want to share it with you to help you achieve success.

I have hosted successful Business Building workshops, I have been an innovator & leader for many business tools & ideas in the Sunless Industry. My spray tan academy has trained students worldwide and have been guest speaker at industry events such as the ASTP and more.
